FINALLY

It’s here. Well, almost. The college football season . Game week. The kickoff for the 2015-16 (FBS) season begins Thursday. If you love the college game, a must have during the summer:

Phil Steele’s College Football Preview magazine.

It’s become the go to for all your college football info prior to the season.

I reached out to Phil earlier this month to talk. We chatted via phone, and as you would imagine working in Huntsville, a lot of the questions were SEC-centric. But we also dove into Ohio State, “surprise” teams in the SEC and a “sleeper” that could crash the four team playoff and become a National Champion.

It’s Monday. Work is overrated. Wet your football appetite just a little more.

Take a listen:

Odds and Ends:

—The College football season actually got underway between two powerhouses in FCS. Kinda like that Bob Stitt guy.

—Just seeing Jim Harbaugh, khaki’s and all, on a college sideline again, is good for the game. Should be a rocking atmosphere at Rice-Eccles Stadium Thursday.

— TCF Bank Stadium will be a great atmosphere, at least early. TCU, with their #2 ranking facing a Gopher team that has took on Jerry Kill’s hard work, grind em out type personality. Media experts think this is his best team… we’ll see.

—My alma mater, Western Kentucky University, has one of the best quarterbacks in the country, and will try to knock of Vanderbilt, who needs, REALLY NEEDS to win this game. SB Nation does the best it can to try and talk Vandy fans off the ledge heading into the season.

—TCU, Baylor, and Oklahoma St are getting the headlines in the Big 12 this off season, but, I personally like Oklahoma. Glad that that Bob Stoops is getting back to the air raid, that got the Sooners on the map early in his tenure. Some new offensive lineman will need to get adjusted, but Baker Mayfield threw it around the yard at Texas Tech as a Freshman, and should (I know, he hasn’t played in a year) thrive in the offense under new Offensive Coordinator Lincoln Riley. And if for nothing else, he can move a little bit, well, a lot.

—Excited to see UCLA’s first year starter.

Picks and more picks:

Alabama over Wisconsin:

Defense rules the day for the Tide. Badgers will have less the 200 yards of offense. It only gets interesting if Alabama’s (insert here) QB struggles.

Auburn over Louisville:

The Cards shouldn’t be measured on this game. Louisville will have a good year. No clue who gets the start for Bobby Petrino, but it won’t matter. Auburn comes out smoking, with the the way-to-early-send-him-to-New-York-now Heisman hype in mid season form for Jeremy Johnson by the half.

Notre Dame over Texas:

Under the lights in South Bend, this is Brian Kelly’s best team with the Irish. Malik Zaire will have his growing pains throughout the season, will it be enough to derail some playoff aspirations? No clue there, but he should play well enough Saturday, along with a elite offense, and a defense that will hound Longhorn quarterbacks Tyrone Swoops/Jerrod Herd all night. BUT… if Swoops/Herd come out hot, The Irish haters may have some added ammunition by midnight Saturday.

Ohio St over Virginia Tech:

Urban Meyer could suspend whomever. They win the game. The Hokies will make it entertaining in spots, but it reminds me of the last time a #1 ranked talented team came to Blacksburg.

Texas A&M over Arizona St:

A sleeper in the SEC, Stewart Mandel picked the Aggies to win the league. The game Saturday in the desert won’t have anything to do with that, but could show that the Aggies have the right guy at Quarterback (Kyle Allen) and an improved defense and/or scheme (John Chavis). The Sun Devils will bring pressure from everywhere… If Allen gets it out of his hands, he may have 450 plus through the air. If he doesn’t Kevin Sumlin’s prized recruit of 2015 may be the answer sooner rather than later.

My Final Four Picks:

(1) Ohio St     Vs (4) Notre Dame

(2) TCU          Vs (3) Auburn

National Championship:

(1) Ohio St Vs (2) TCU

Winner: Ohio St

Enjoy the games this week. Football is back. Football. Is. Back.

Five Downs

1st Down

Can We Give Auburn Credit?

College Football fans should. Yes I know that we will hear the “Auburn was fortunate, they were lucky to win in Manhattan” moniker for the next two or three days. That may be good fodder to talk about, but it’s not Auburn’s fault that Kansas State was so inept in the kicking game, and couldn’t take advantage of their opportunities in the red zone.

We could also say this game would have been over had Duke Williams caught a for sure TD in the first half. He made it count in the second half with a big score, and a 3rd and 9 conversion to ice the game 20-14. And about Nick Marshall not being able to throw? Big time conversions late in this game including that deciding 3rd down throw to Duke. Auburn  is for real. K State had won 42 of their last 44 at home. Let’s give the Tigers credit for a few days. Then we can look at the gauntlet of SEC games starting October 4th.

2nd Down

Does Florida have a Chance?

No clue on that Saturday against 3rd ranked Alabama. The Gators Defense will be as elite as they’ve been under WIll Muschamp. We all know what the elephant in the room is. Jeff Driskel. This offense just seems lost at times, and inconsistent. I thought before the season that if the Gators could just score 21-24 points they win at least 9 games. They needed 36 points to beat a ryoung and talented Kentucky team in 3 OT’s last week.

3rd Down

As for Alabama….

Can I just say that I just want to see Amari Cooper and Vernon Hargreaves III go at it? Excited to see that. As for the Tide, we will see how much the offense has improved over a quality opponent. Blake Sims is the starter, with Jacob Coker on the sidelines. Florida will try to confuse Sims as we all know, will be interesting to see if Lane Kiffin stays with the bubble screen left, bubble screen right, handoff to running back A philosophy or will the offense continue to grow in game. Alot of question marks still for both teams as we head to kickoff.

4th Down

Is Mississippi State ready to make the jump?

Dan Mullen’s bunch head to Death Valley where as my guy Les Miles says dreams come to die. He also does things like this which makes EVERYONE love him even more. It’s the gift that keeps on giving:

As for the game Saturday, The LSU offense is still finding it’s way after a few games, while we really don’t know much about the Bulldogs (wins over  So Miss, UAB, South Alabama). Business picks up this week, I just think the Baton Rouge faithful and those 22 guys on the field in Purple and Yellow will be a little too much for State. The best thing for State, is if LSU’s offense starts slow in this one, if that happens, I wouldn’t be shocked if the Bayou Bengals find themselves in trouble.

 5th Down

Jameis

Yes he’s 20. yes he’s been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Would I scream what he screamed in my college student union… nah, but I’ve done my fair share of REALLY, REALLY, stupid things in college. Do I have any clue on if this is a concern for Winston moving forward. Honestly no. I could be wrong, and wouldn’t have an issue in saying so in the future. Whether it was a quarter or a half, Winston got football taken away from him this week. That’s never happened. I think it would do wonders for him, realizing that he has an opportunity to play a kids game, and enjoy the rewards that surround it.

I literally laughed when I heard some of the national talking heads suggest that Winston’s draft stock would fall. Yeah right. He will be the first or second QB taken and one of the first ten players taken in the draft if he decides to leave. For all those that want to cast stones to any collegiate athletes regardless of sport. Just remember. There are far worse things going on with athletes and college students that we just don’t hear or see about.

Quick Hitter

The NFL.

I don’t even know where to start with the league. It would take me hours to go through it all. We all know the environment that the league is in right now. The biggest thing I hope comes from all these issues, is that it brings awareness to domestic violence. So many women are in trouble each and everyday in the world and in this great country. I hope the common sports fan understands that this goes beyond the white lines on Sunday’s. There are people in trouble, and I hope the awareness is raised even more with all the recent issues with the NFL.

Enjoy the weekend!

And It’s Back!! College Football Talk and other quick Hitters

(Source:nydailynews.com)

Yep, We’ve waited and waited, and now It’s here… I feel like I should play this song before each season..

So now it’s on to tonight the start of the college football season, some great games to get us started before the full slate begins on Saturday… Here’s what we saw a ton of during the off season….

That video above never, NEVER gets old… What about this guy? He came out of nowhere, right?

And then it was Manziel mania…. Oh yeah, I forgot, Bama wins AGAIN.

So enough about last year.. time to talk this year and time to talk big games starting on Thursday night:

North Carolina Vs (6) South Carolina

The skinny:  The college football world has talked Jadaveon Clowney and that hit (and rightfully so) a ton, now the Gamecocks and Steve Spurrier have one of the most talented rosters in history, and hope to make a run to a BCS game or possibly more, North Carolina on the other hand wants to shock the football world early with a win tonight on the road.

What will happen: This game could go either way. Lost in all the Clowney talk, is that the Gamecocks lost some experienced play makers on defense, and will be breaking in some new linebackers tonight.. not a good recipe for the Tar Heels potent offense led by senior Brynn Renner. I think the Tar Heels will scare the Gamecocks throughout, and could play well late into this game, before the Gamecocks makes a play of two, on Defense to get the win at home.

North Carolina 17  South Carolina 28

Ole Miss Vs Vanderbilt

The Skinny: This game is HUGE for both teams moving forward. After tonight’s game, Ole Miss has a layup against South East Missouri and then  will play at Texas, Alabama, Auburn, and then at home against Texas A&M. Vandy on the other hand will have a layup against Austin Peay, but then a big one with South Carolina after that… meaning that either team could gain some serious momentum with a win tonight.

What will happen: Vanderbilt will have a new QB at the helm in Wyoming transfer Austyn Carta-Samuels.  A Source that watched a ton of Fall Camp at Vandy  told me that he’s struggled and been inconsistent throughout fall camp, which could mean trouble for wideout Jordan Matthews tonight early on. I think Samuels has talent, but this is not the type of game you want to get your feet wet in. Hugh Freeze and the Rebels will score, in bunches and two step out of Nashville with a win.

OIe Miss 35   Vanderbilt 17

Saturday Games

1 Alabama Vs Virginia Tech

The Skinny: Alabama is number one, what else is new? The Tide come into their game in Atlanta a heavy favorite to blow out the Hokies. Heck, even longtime Hokies coach Frank Beamer has said this is the best Alabama team he has ever faced (cue the no one believes we can win inside the Tech locker room prior to the game talk). The Tide have to replace three parts to an all time great offensive line, but returns the best skill position talent in the history of the program.

What will happen: Three months ago, I would have said that this game would be close, and that Alabama would win a close one. But Tech has lost some key parts on defense including top corner back Antone Exumm, and a few other players on what would have been a salty and stingy D. So now that  means the Tide don’t win close, but big, as September 14th becomes more of a a reality.

Alabama 49  Virgina Tech 13

Washington State VS Auburn

The Skinny: It’s the Gus Malzahn era at Auburn, he brings his offense back to the Plains that was responsible for that 2010 BCS National Title.  Like Auburn, Washington State was terrible a year ago in Mike Leach’s first year. Two offenses that like to go fast, what defense will get the job done is the key.

What will happen: Mike Leach’s group will get hit early by Tigers newcomer Nick Marshall at QB who’s as athletic as they come under center (Marshall a former DB at Georgia… Bulldogs starter Aaron Murray said he’s the best athlete he’s ever seen), will make some highlight plays early on to excite the night crowd at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Cougars will show signs of improvement from a year ago, but the 4-2-5 of Ellis Johnson will get some pressure on the Cougars to force some turnovers.

Washington State 13  Auburn 31

5 Georgia Vs 8 Clemson

The Skinny: The game of the weekend. the Bulldogs head to Death Valley to face a Clemson team that’s thinking National Title.  Clemson is everyone’s “hot” team heading into the season, while Mark Richt’s group has questions on Defense, but his best offense ever in Athens.

What will happen: I’ve went back and forth.. and back again on this game. In the end, I have to stick to my first thoughts. Aaron Murray will shine on Saturday night with a really, really good offense, Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall will have success running the football. The problem is that it’s hard for me to think that a young and very talented Bulldogs D can withstand blow after blow by Clemson and their offense. Tajh Boyd, Sammy Watkins and that hurry up implemented by offensive Coordinator Chad Morris is a lot to handle already. Add in National TV, at night, at Death Valley, and it becomes that much tougher. One things for certain. Clemson needs this game more than Georgia does. Clemson loses this game, It could spell disaster for the rest of the season. Georgia wins this game, they’re playing with house money with South Carolina coming between the hedges next week.

Georgia 17 Clemson 24

Quick Picks for Week 1:

USC over Hawaii

LSU over TCU

Utah St over Utah

Fresno St over Rutgers

Western KY over Kentucky

Oklahoma St over Mississippi St

Washington over Boise St

The other two Louisiana schools

Would it be a shock if three Louisiana programs go 3-0 after week 1? I picked LSU to beat TCU… But what about UL- Monroe over Oklahoma, and UL-Lafayette over Arkansas? I’m not sayin, but just sayin…. keep an eye out for those two games.

Quick Hitters:

–Did anyone really think Johnny Manziel would get “hammered” by the NCAA? I was shocked he got even a half game suspension.

–You want to see a really good QB and RB? tune in to Utah State against Utah and check out Chuckie Keeton and Joe Hill. the Aggies have a ton of starters returning from an 11-2 team a year ago. Auburn fans remember Keeton and Hill who almost pulled off the upset in 2011.

–Another QB you haven’t heard of? Fresno State’s Derrick Carr. He threw 37 TD passes a year ago, and is poised for an even bigger year through the air (4,104 yards in ’12) this season. Fresno State could be this year’s “BCS buster”.

–Im ready to see this guy. I miss you, good sir.

HAPPY COLLEGE FOOTBALL EVERYONE!!! ENJOY WEEK ONE!!!!!!

Final Four Weekend, A Song I Can’t Get Out of My Head, And other Randomness

(Source: gamedayr.com)

SO Hows Your Bracket?

So if anyone read my post a few weeks ago on the NCAA Tournament and teams I thought can win it… I’m 2 for four in the Final Four!!! Problem is….my picks for my bracket only has ONE team in the Final Four. Does it surprise me that Michigan and Louisville is there? Nope. I picked VCU over Michigan, but thought the winner of that second round game would head to the Final Four, I just picked the Rams. As for Louisville, They have been one of the two best teams in the regular season, and the best team in the Tournament, and they were my pick to win it all anyway.

CINDERELLA WHERE ARE YOU?

(Source: thedailybeast.com)

So who had Florida Gulf Coast in the Sweet Sixteen? You’re lying if you did. Who thought they would beat Georgetown  You’re REALLY lying to me now.  But if you look more into their roster and see who they beat this season (Miami on the road), you can see they were capable of surprising someone. Add to the fact that they have an up tempo style, versus the Hoyas Princeton offense, you could see that happening… With all that said I didn’t see that coming, nor did you. And Please be honest with yourself.

CINDERELLA WAS PAST CURFEW

Prior to the great story of Florida Gulf Coast, hoops fans and media types alike were talking how crazy this tournament was going to be… It wasn’t. There are no George Masons, or no VCU’s that had to play a first four game and reach the Final Four. 99.9% of the time, the chalk always cuts the nets down. Think about it, who outside of NC State  (1982-83) surprised the field and won it all? Butler did MAKE the NCAA  Title Game two straight years…. But didn’t win it. At the end of the day, a program has to win 6 or 7 games to win it all. There will be a team that is a “True” Cinderella that will indeed win it someday (Just law of averages, like a 16 seed beating a 1), But 9 out of 10 times, the Kansas, Louisville’s, and Kentucky’s of the world will win it the majority of the time.

STYLES MAKE FIGHTS

College basketball and boxing are similar in their approach. Styles make fights, meaning an up tempo style, against a methodical approach poses great games and problems for either said team. Syracuse and their 2-3 zone poses problems for the likes of Indiana. Louisville’s pressure is hard to deal with when you play teams that have NEVER seen any sort of style like that. The list could go on and on. The College game is the style game more than any other sport in the country. That’s why we see the quintessential upsets in tourney games and during a regular season.. and yes other factors go into it (like shooting the basketball, poor shooting nights, injuries), but when you see contrasting styles on paper, it should give you reason to pause… at least for a second.

RANDOM THOUGHTS FROM THE LAST TWO WEEKS

(Source:bleacherreport.com)

—Two stories have dominated over the last two days in college athletics… the Auburn Tigers article written by Selena Roberts was the huge headline late Wednesday night and all day Thursday. A ton of scathing news from former player Mike McNeil and allegedly others in the report about some of the things that were going on at Auburn. For those that haven’t read it, copy and paste the link below:

http://www.roopstigo.com/reader/auburns_vainted_title_victims_violations_and_vendettas_for_glory/

I don’t know how much is truth, how much is false, But I have to think we are somewhere in the middle… the next week or so should be interesting.. I’ll have more on the state of college athletics in the coming weeks in my blog post.

(Source:nj.com)

–The guy above had to go. Mike Rice fired after a 30-minute video and reports surfaced of him physically and verbally abusing players. I love intensity, and a in your face coach that demands the very best from student athletes. But there’s a line that should NEVER be crossed. Throwing basketballs at players knees and heads, and using verbal slurs is that line of oblivion. Mike Rice knew that before hand, and knew it all the way up until that tape was made public by the Worldwide Leader. Tim Pernetti, the AD also knew, and unfortunately most times you are guilty by association. Pernetti hired Rice as his first big hire as AD, he suspended him three games last season and fined him 50K… so that tells me he knew this craziness was going on… He’s gotta be let go as well. End of Story.

–I’m excited about the NFL Draft… so much intrigue with every pick from the first round down to seventh. Should be fun at the end of the month… More on that as the Draft moves closer.

CRAZY Randomness….

I love this song… and when it comes out on iTunes or wherever.. i have to have it. Plus it’s an introduction to one of the greatest inventions EVER made in the food world.

Have a great weekend everyone.

It’s BACK! First Post of 2013!

To start this off right.. Enjoy below:

Now.. A TON of things have happened since my last blog post on Carl’s Clipboard. The last time I posted, Alabama was getting ready for the SEC Championship game against Georgia. Fast forward two months later, and The Tide are BCS National Champions for the third time in four years. For those that may have forgotten that beat down of Notre Dame in Miami:

(Source: aol.sportingnews.com)

Three Things I learned from the sidelines of that game:

1. Alabama is the programs of programs RIGHT NOW. Kudos to Nick Saban for finding a way to win back to back  National Titles. His last two teams have had one thing that other programs didn’t have… All time great defense (2011 Title Team Vs LSU), and an all time great offensive line (2012 Vs Notre Dame).

2. Notre Dame is relevant, but still has a way to go. Whether you love or hate the Irish, they aren’t going anywhere for a LONG, LONG time. Were they one of the five best teams in the country? Yes. Were they better than Alabama, or Oregon? No. But you’re crazy if you didn’t think they shouldn’t play for a National title undefeated. The program will never win from Notre Dame haters, because they are Notre Dame, I get it. But when you look at what Head Coach Brian Kelly has done in just three seasons, that previous coaches couldn’t do (Weis, Willingham, Davie) how can you not say that the Irish will be in the Hunt for a BCS crown, and WIN a few in the next five seasons?

3. The margin for the SEC and it’s dominance is thisclose. The morning after the game, Tide head coach Nick Saban  said the difference from his team winning a National Title and playing elsewhere, was 5 yards (Vs Georgia in SEC Title game). As great as the Tide were in spots this year, they could easily have had three losses, and played on New Years Day. The rest of the country and the rest of the SEC is catching up, and I think you will see a number of teams continue to close the gap. BUT, when you have someone like Nick Saban on the sidelines, he understands he will have to make subtle changes to continue to stay on top.

SIGNING DAY EVE!

(Source:USAtoday.com)

A ton of young men will sign their letters of intent on Wednesday to play for numerous colleges across the country. The picture of above is that of 5 star linebacker Ruben Foster. Foster who verbally committed to Alabama, de-committed and verbally committed to Auburn, got a tattoo:

(Source:the big lead.com)

and roughly three weeks ago de-committed from the Tigers and made a announcement on regional TV Tuesday night to recommit to Alabama. Got all that? I’ve listened to people on message boards, and on talk radio about Foster last night and this morning. My opinion, Foster can commit, de-commit,and ride this out as long as he pleases. Here’s why.

There are thousands of 18 year olds that are having to make the biggest decision of their respective lives. What is wrong with taking every official and unofficial visit you can possibly make? Why not be able to travel to the West coast, or go visit LSU, ALabama, USC, and everywhere in between. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for these young men, to make a decision for their future. I LOVE the signing day hoopla, and all that it entails. You know why? We have college football coaches that can up and leave a university that these 18-year-old young men “commit” to for them. Coaches have agents, and can go to another destination without penalty. News flash folks. These young men go to a university for the coaches and the relationships they make with them, not because they are a fan of a school. So when Coach A goes to University B, what happens to the so-called student athletes that came there for you to lead them? One word. STUCK.  I get it, opportunities are opportunities, and we all want to make the best decisions for ourselves. BUT don’t get on a young  man who wants to explore all of their options before signing on that “X” on the Letter of Intent on signing day.

SUPER BOWL!!!!!

(Source:theblaze.com)

A GREAT game, period. AS a lifelong 49ers fan, I would have of course loved for my guys to win a World title. But, I LOVE the Ravens and all that they stand for as men, so I couldn’t be that upset. But the stars of stars of the show… well what can you say. Beyoncé was AWESOME during the halftime show:

COMMERCIAL TIME!

Time to rank my favorites of the Super Bowl:

5. Paul Harvey’s God Made A Farmer. Paul Harvey in a commercial. Priceless.

4.  Man Vs Cheetah Sketchers. Animals in the wild in commercials make me laugh. This did as well.

3. Fashionista Daddy (Doritos). If I had a daughter and my buddies were over, this would so happen to me.

2. Joe Montana Miracle Stain. As mentioned earlier, I’m a 49ers fan. I laughed out loud.

1. Old Folks at Taco Bell. The best by far in my opinion. Hands down, I was crying laughing. And if I ever have to go to pasture in my later life, this will be me.

Honorable Mention: Leon Sandcastle.

That’s it for now, I’ll be back next week to talk recruiting classes, college basketball, and reality TV (Big Rich Atlanta, watch it)! Enjoy the Week!

Football Friday Thoughts…

(Source:fsunews.com)

THOUGHTS FROM LAST WEEK, AND UPCOMING GAMES THIS WEEK:

–So, the game of the weekend will belong to Florida St. and Clemson. The winner with an  inside track toward an ACC Championship game berth and possibly much more. As explosive as Clemson is on offense, The Noles D will come to play. I think FSU’s D has the chance to be as good as Alabama and LSU’s.

–Speaking of LSU, they travel to Auburn for a night game at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Bayou Bengals will win, but I’m VERY interested in seeing QB Zach Mettenberger play his first road League game as a starter. Idaho, Washington, etc are great to throw against at Tiger Stadium, It’s also another in your first hostile environment.

–With all that said, RB Kenny Hillard is a MAN. He was the back I liked the most last season and this year he has established himself as the guy or someone that will get a ton of minutes. And don’t forget about Spencer Ware,  and freshman Jeremy Hill, Alfred Blue, the list goes on and on.

–What happens in Fayetteville if the Arkansas loses Saturday to 3-0 Rutgers? If it isn’t already a mess, the ol’ head coach of the Hogs had the college football world buzzing for…all the wrong reasons.. Still some funny stuff… Remember.. SMILE!!!!

–I know that Arizona and Rich Rodriguez have had some early season success (wins over Okla state included), but things change this week. Oregon is for real folks. Two words: WARP SPEED. They may score 65. And I’m not joking.

(Source:timwebbphotography.com)

–Yes, I have to show some love for my Alma Mater. Western Kentucky University got a nice win over Kentucky on the road in Overtime. Kinda surreal, with running back Antonio Andrews throwing the throw back pass to QB Kewaun Jakes for the go ahead two point conversion… I actually covered Antonio Andrews in High school during my first job out of college. He was named Mr Football in the state, and was electric. But because of his size, many larger schools were turned off… the rest is history, he will be a great player at WKU.

–Now. To UK. Wow. Joker Philips could be gone by the end of October. If I’m AD Mitch Barnhardt, I’m making calls to a few coaches that A) know the SEC, B) Have experience and knows what it takes to win in this league, and C) can bring credibility to the program….

— That short list for me would consist of Bobby Petrino, Bobby Petrino, Bobby Petrino. Yes he has had A HUGE scandal a year ago, but why wouldn’t you take a feeler for him? He’s coached in the state (Louisville) and could bring instant credibility to a program that has everything to win.

–If Notre Dame wins Saturday night against Michigan, the AP poll will put them in the top 7 in the country, especially if they look impressive doing so.

–But to me, Michigan’s is WAY overrated, and a year or two away from being a player nationally, Still Brady Hoke is a heck of a coach by the way.

—Dear Cory Henry,

Please be Careful what you wish for Saturday.. safe travels dude.

Signed,

–If you haven’t heard of Teddy Bridgewater, look him up. He’s a Star in the making.

— I love Colin Klein,Bill Synder, and Kansas State. That’s why I think the road trip to Norman to face Oklahoma will be a close one. If Oklahoma is a top 5-10 team and a legit BCS Title contender, you MUST win this game… if not.. We now understand the UTEP game to start the season. Oh, and the MASK is back, enjoy Below:

RANDOM COMMERCIAL THAT CRACKS ME UP:

So it’s Little Ceasers. And this guy is hilarious. I laughed aloud when I first saw it, and laugh every time I see it.

REALITY TV TIME!

A HUGE Shout out to Whitney M! My friend will join Andy Cohen in the WWHL Lounge:

Congrats to her! I just want a shout out on the show. Don’t judge.

That’s it for this Friday, enjoy the games and I’ll be back next week…
